STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO-March 7, 2016-The sound of United jet engines return to the Steamboat/Hayden Airport (HDN) starting July 1 with the return of daily nonstop service from Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) aboard United Airlines. For a third consecutive season, ExpressJet will operate the nonstop flights through August 14 using a 50-seat Embraer 145 regional jet aircraft.
“With significant connections worldwide, United’s Houston summer nonstop flight returns for a third season with a focus on the key summer travel months of July and August,” commented Bob Milne, president of the Local Marketing District board (LMD). “This flight has developed a strong awareness and the LMD believes its return brings increased travel opportunities across the country this summer.”
The daily United Airlines nonstop summer flights will operate from Houston, the United States’ fourth most populous city, directly into Steamboat/Hayden Airport from July 1 through August 14, 2016. The Embraer aircraft features a total of 50 seats and the schedule for the daily service is as follows:
