Rabbit Ears Terrain Park is expected to open Thursday, Dec. 28.
On Tuesday, Dec. 26, Sunshine, Bar-UE and South Peak lifts opened, providing access to Tomahawk, one of the resort’s most popular runs, in addition to 29 other trails. With the Sunshine and Sundown lifts open, First Tracks will return to this area for early-morning access.
The resort now boasts 127 trails on more than 2,000 acres and 14 lifts. The mountain operations team now will focus on opening the Pony Express area and work to get the resort 100 percent open as soon as possible. Find the most updated information on open lifts and trails at Steamboat.com/snow.
