Steamboat 3 Pass Prices Announced for 2016/17
Colorado Front Range skiers and riders who are already dreaming of floating through the Champagne Powder® snow this winter can plan ahead and get three tickets to Steamboat with the limited-edition Steamboat 3 Pass, starting at $149.
The Steamboat 3 pass offers three days throughout the 2016/17 ski and snowboard season, excluding December 26 through January 10. Limited to one pass per person, the nontransferable Steamboat 3 is available to Colorado residents from August 15 through September 5 for $169 at Steamboat.com/three. A special $149 rate will be available exclusively in-store at the Christy Sports in Littleton (8601 West Cross Drive) from August 26 through September 6 during the Denver Powder Daze event. After September 5, Front Range skiers and riders can purchase the Steamboat 3 pass online for $199 through September 14.
“Planning ahead really does pay off with the Steamboat 3 pass, which offers an unmatched value to ski and ride Steamboat’s world-class terrain for as low as $50 per day,” said Rob Perlman, president and chief operating officer for the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. “You won’t find a lower price to hit the Steamboat slopes this winter.”
Steamboat 3 passes are equipped with radio-frequency identification technology on the resort’s QuickTrax cards, enabling hands-free access to lifts. When a Steamboat passholder goes through the RFID gate, it opens automatically after registering the QuickTrax technology on the Steamboat pass. This means faster and smoother hands-free lift access, mobile app tracking abilities and easy lift ticket reload capabilities.
With some of the highest guest service scores within the ski industry, Steamboat is famous worldwide for its authentic Western atmosphere, genuine friendliness, Olympic tradition and Champagne Powder® snow.
