Kindness?
Hi all. I was wondering when kindness and consideration for other's went out the window. I know these are trying times and we all have crosses to bear. It seems here in KC that people are losing it.. Uggggggg. I have been to Steamboat over a half of dozen times and never!! Did I not meet a kind face or a smile and a kind word.. I just can't wait to be apart of the Steamboat family. Mountains make me feel so wonderful, it's like heaven on earth, it is hard to explain. See you all in Nov. I am very lucky and blessed to be a member of the lift operation staff. I have definitely noticed the change in attitude and overall happiness in the general public whenever I venture away from Steamboat. It is at those times when I realize how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place with beautiful happy and kind people. Another reason for a visit to Steamboat- it's good for the soul!

Yes these are trying times we live in. ;( Let's stay positive. ;) errrr hard sometimes isn't it???....... It has been a life long dream to do this, work for a ski resort like "Steamboat"! I stayed in KC for 18 yrs to make sure my girl was ok. She is a Mizzou "J" school daughter and I think she will be just fine, way to proud of her. So.... I am off into a new job, life and adventure it seem's. Wish me luck!! Hey when I get there if you ever need anything just yell. Hey Timbo...

We have been coming to Steamboat for winter vacations for years and I could not agree more that the people there make you feel like you are part of the family!! I will be there in February with a bunch a of guys from all over the world (leaving the wives and girlfriends at home) and I have told all of them what a friendly and wonderful place Steamboat is. Keep up the good work and see you in February.
