The 50th anniversary season is fast approaching and Mother Nature is ready to celebrate in Steamboat. This past weekend she brought a storm that left 15" of snow piled up at mid-mountain. Even better than the snow (what could be better than snow?!) is the consistently cold temperatures that are prime for snowmaking.

Our mountain crews have been hard at working taking advantage of the perfect snowmaking weather and building a base for our big season.

Scholarship Day is set for next Wednesday, November 21st, with specially priced lift tickets that benefit the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. Then on Thursday we start our 50th anniversary season celebrations with lots of giveaways, specials and parties. Saturday, November 24th the base area is the place to be with a FREE concert from the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
We're ready to throw on our ski pants, wax our boards and hit the slopes. We'll see you out there!
