It is hard to know where to ski on a day like today but let me tell you this:  IT DOESN"T MATTER!  Fluffy, soft, phenomenal, beautiful, blissful.  This has been an awesome season so far and I don't see any signs of that changing.  What a year it is when you know that any day you head out onto the hill, you are getting a winner.  Whether it be groomers, powder (and there is plenty to find), bumps (aka pillows), glades you name it you will find it and when you do, there will be a huge smile on your face.

There is definitely a chill in the air and the higher you climb, the more breeze you will find and that adds to the nip in the air.  Pack a face mask and you should be all set.  The sun is out and will warm things up some as the day goes forward.  I chugged over to Sundown first thing this morning and took a run down Upper High Noon to Two O'Clock.  Fabulous groomed surface and thick.  Each turn drops your edges in about 2 inches and rounds you out to the next one with ease.  As the morning unfolded, I found myself seeking out my old favorites and was not disappointed with any of my choices.  One O'Clock was just as pleasant as it's neighbor and Lower High Noon was as good as it gets.

Continuing my path down my old haunts, Storm Peak Face was groomed but I couldn't help venturing over into the North section where I found lots of soft piles of light and fluffy powder puffs, simply wonderful.  I noticed that Hurricane was groomed and couldn't pass that up.  I love this black run and when it is groomed..wheeeee.  Hurrying toward the Storm Peak Express, I wanted to catch one more run.  Buddy's is always a good pick, nice and wide with lots of options for mini challenges along the sides.  Bumps to the right, trees and more powder on skier's left.  I dashed over to Tornado which looked great from the lift and it was.  Piles of soft snow made it easy to float down to Tornado Lane where I scooted across to access Lower Vagabond.  Skier's right was as soft as can be and groomed perfectly.

Today is one of those days that you feel lucky as can be to have a ski day like this at your disposal.  Mondays are nice and easy days up here, quiet and just plain good to be out.  I hope you enjoy your week, it looks to be a beautiful one.
