Maybe it was the friendly ticket scanners, maybe it was the solitude of the gondola ride, or maybe it was the reggae music blasting at 4 Points Hut, but the vibe on the mountain this morning was nothing but good.  Those of you who were pressing glass on any of the glorious pow mornings last week will appreciate this:

Ahhhh, take a deep breath in...........and release all your cares away.  It was quiet and serene this morning, a good for the soul kinda day.

I started today as I usually do on bluebird week days:  with a grooming report.  I know all the usuals that are going to be on my list to hit like Daze, Vag, Buddy's....but today's report read like Beyonce's half time set list, eveyone was a hit (ha)!  I was psyched to see that both Ted's Ridge and Cyclone were on the list.

Ted's is one of the steeper runs that gets groomed and is otherwise pretty bumpy.  It's a fast track to Thunderhead lift and gets somewhat overlooked as it cuts off from Heavenly Daze.

Cyclone was next on my hit list, because like Ted's, if it's not groomed it's often moguled out and is a treat to ski when it's freshly smooth.  I was 2 for 2 this morning with those runs so took my chances heading up Storm for a Lap O' Love (Buddy's - Rainbow - Moonlight) before hopping on Sundown Express and onto my must-ski run on pretty much any day.  Sunshine Lift line is the ripperiest ripping run to rip.  It's so much fun.  It's the perfect pitch to let you skis go, you don't have to speed check much at all and the snowcats make sure to keep the seams tight on this one.

It's a scientifc fact you cannot be stressed when skiing into this view:

I finished off this beautiful Tuesday with a Westside and back up front to run the Daze.  It's just pure awesome from top to bottom.

Don't forget your sunscreen and don't forget to leave all your cares in the car along with your snow blades stress :) .

Have a rippin' day!
