Day 9: Bomb Shells Join Bomb Squad For The Day

Sasebo-Japan—Two Olympic bombshells, Kaylin Richardson and Caroline Lalive, traded their traditional downhill speed suits for specially designed bomb blast suits when Armed Forces Entertainment HEAVY Medal III spent a few hours with members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5, Detachment 51 stationed at Sasebo, Japan.

HEAVY Medal III – Japan’s Golden Week

With cooler temperatures replacing the hot and humid tropical conditions experienced over the past few days, Armed Forces Entertainment HEAVY Medal III team enjoyed a day with US Army troopers of the Akizuki/83rd Ordinance Battalion in Kure, Japan.

Armed Entertainment Heavy Medal Tour III: The Hunt for HEAVY Medal

HEAVY Medal III-Touch Down, GUAM!

After crossing the International Date Line, the HEAVY Medal III team touched down in Guam, a United States territory located in the western Pacific Ocean after a day (or was it two days) of travel to reach this island oasis. 1st SNOW OF THE SEASON IN THE BOAT

Even though the calendar says Fall officially arrives tomorrow, Mother Nature provided a brief preview of winter as the Steamboat Ski Area awoke to its first snow of the season today, Monday, September 21st. Snow was seen down to just below the top of Christie Peak about 8,000 feet with between a trace to half an inch as you moved up from the top of the gondola up to the summit of Mt. Werner.
