My most recent Steamboat adventure is one that is steeped in tradition. Not only here in the valley but for much of the west. The rodeo, is an All-American experience and one that I had almost all but forgotten. 110 miles on a road bike is a long way! Oh yes, I have found and made my home in the pain cave. Did I mention the 2 mountain climbs, which included Rabbit Ears and Gore Pass? Thanks to Eriksen Cycles Tour de Steamboat, I have an entirely new appreciation for these long distance athletes. Over 350 people of all ages and ability made their way over the Continental Divide and then some. Crazy Folks, they are! Ninety miles an hour on skis is much more comfortable for me.
