Logging Mitigation Planned At Ski Area Starting This Week

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO-April 19, 2011-Starting as early as this week, the Steamboat Ski Area in conjunction with local contractor, Rogue Resources, will begin logging operations to remove approximately 4.8 acres of dead lodgepole pine trees from the area on the lower mountain between Concentration and Ted’s Ridge above Betwixt.

Steamboat Mobile: An iPhone App and a mobile optimized website live

Back in February Steamboat released an iPhone App called "Visit Steamboat".  In March we released a mobile-optimized version of the App that works on all modern smartphones if you fire up their browser and point it to http://m.steamboat.com.

On Powder

There is nothing like a powder day. Period.

I don't care what activity you participate in, there is nothing as beautiful, delicate, and fragile as a new blanket of snow on the ground.
