"We will also be staying at the Gondola Square Condos next week, and we are renting from Fleischer. They have already called to confirm the reservation and answer any questions we have. Is it as convenient as it sounds to the slopes and condos?"

we couldn't decide who to book skis from but we wanted to use the new guy since it was privately owned.  I can't say enough great things about Fleischer's and their customer service.  The guys in the shop were friendly and helpful and it just made for a great experience.  We will definitely be back next year!!!  Thanks to Torrey and all the other guys who were  so helpful!See More

Finally to the Tepee!

This year marked a 3rd year of lessons for our little skier! Keep in mind the first year he was on skis we had to hunt for a pair of boots small enough. At 19 months he skiied with us on preview. I wouldn't do that now that they have made the changes but preview used to be a FANTASTIC beginner slope.

Year 2 he was sick and stayed inside the entire week, year 3 his instructor called him "Snuggly" he spent more time snuggled against her than skiing. Year 4 we took off to have a…

Day 3 here at the 'Boat

Blue sky, NO powder, warm sunshine...and I was not a fan of the slope today.

Day 3 - Dropped the little man off at ski school and hit the Gondola for a run to the top. Tomahawk was good but the icy patches on broadway were not fun at all and after lunch at Stoker's I bailed on the hubby and my dad and took the Gondola down. I felt like a total wimp but really, when my legs were shaking pretty much every time I stopped...I didn't feel safe even making my way down from the Gondola… Continue

Family Ski Trip '10

Our trip started off badly as our first flight was cancelled. We rescheduled for the next morning and every thing was running smoothly after that.

Arrived in Hayden on time and checked in with out taxi service, given the number to our shuttle and proceded to pick up our bags from luggage claim. I stepped into the bathroom with my daughter and after exiting was rushed out to the shuttle. The driver had apparently come in looking for us (we had just picked up our bags mind you) and… Continue

We are trying to organize a meeting of forum members who will be in town next week. These are usually around 4PM at either Slopeside or Tugboat, but we are open to other suggestions. Are, you interested, and if so, what date/place works best for you?
