Snow Snow and MORE SNOW

It is officially a huge winter and the season hasn't started yet. We have had over four feet of snow in the past three days alone and it is still hammering outside at 6am!

I think everyone was left wondering if this winter was going to be another thin one based on the beautiful fall that was exceptionally warm. Well, its winter and it is going to be one of the best opening days on record.

Powder skis will be going out the doors starting on opening day and I will be up there to ensure… Continue

Big Snow in Steamboat!

Was on Rabbit Ears yesterday with my boys 3 and 5 and they were skiing and there was a ton of snow up there and it was a total white out most of the day. I wake up this morning and wouldn't you know it there is at least 6 inches of fresh snow down here at the base of the ski area in front of my store.

I have yet to hear the snowfall total from the past 24 hours but I am going to bet it is at least 12 inches plus at mid mountain.

The fact that our base layer is as deep and as dense as… Continue

MAsters race programs are all over the country and it is the only way to go other than NASTAR. NASTAR is not the level you are seeking by the sounds of things.
Masters racing involves traveling and trainingas if you were in a FIS level program. Good luck and sorry it took so long to reply.

Hello Chad

I am from Russia, but live now in Corona, CA
I use to ski at my home town professionally for 12 years. My specialties are in Downhill and Giant SL.
I almost qualify for Moscow Olympics in 1980, but, because my age at the time I wasn’t able to do so, I was only 15.
Then army, then marriage, then kids, you know how it goes. I really got distracted with other think in live, from being a pro. skier. Well, I am sorry that I didn’t, it’s past now, can’t go back and change the future.
In 1993 I came to US and decide to stay in CA. By the time I learn language, applied for paper work for the job, learn to speak and write, and applied for citizenship, it was about 2001.
After part time ski ventures at Tahoe, Big Bear Summit and UT, I finally got all I need to ski full time. I had so many obstacles and problems to find any one to coach me back to my prime of downhill skiing.
One time, my friend and I, ski at Park City UT, I almost got arrested and pardon from the place, for high speed skiing, just couldn’t hold it any longer. Too many beginners on that day, and the mountain weren’t really set up for any kind of downhill or fast skiing.
Make my story short.
Here I am, 44 years old, but still in shape, kind of.
My question to you is, is there any way I can get back on my skis and raise again. Maybe in older group of people. The reason I ask you is because you are Chad Fleischer. For some reason I think you can answer my question. Or maybe even help me.
Thank you for your time
