There and Back Again

Well here we are, back in front of the PC and not on the other side of the Webcam,no more looking down the mountain or soaking in the hot tub gazing down the Yampa Valley easing that right knee. We tend to pay for our flights partly with BA airmiles. Since we booked so late, BA didn't have any flights available with airmiles from Denver, but plenty from LA: so it made sense to fly back via LA. Normally we book a lot earlier and get the availability we want from Denver.

It was a bit of hassle coming home, but the LA-LON flight is longer than the DEN-LON flight - so more opportunity to sleep on the flight.

Fingers crossed for some good conditions too, but I am sure that it will be fantastic, whatever the weather.

Husband has popped into work for a few hours, I am left to make the house look respectable (get rid of the Xmas decorations etc - not that we have many up) and pack. I am pretty organised, I think. Checked in online a couple of hours back, but I never feel comfortable until I step through the terminal door at Heathrow... ;-)
