We've created this Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page based on
all the valuable information our members have been providing since
the inception of my.steamboat.com. It has come to our attention
that many users are frequently asking similar questions. We hope
this FAQ (which will be a work in progress) can help eliminate the
redundancy as well as maintain efficiency and organization of our
content. Thanks to all who have helped to supply the answers to our
most frequently asked questions.
Ticket Refunds - Can we get a refund for unused tickets?
We do not refund unused days unless
someone was injured. This requires a Dr's note and the ticket may
not be skied on after the injury date. There are a couple of
restrictions on this - if it was purchased through a wholesaler or
agent then it most likely is not refundable. If it was purchased
rack rate at the ticket office then we can take care of it with
proper documentation. If it was a pass product - the injury must be
season ending.
Why Do Some Members Have Flags on Their Profile Pictures?
If you see a member that has a
Steamboat favicon (the Steamboat flag icon) on their profile
picture it simply means that they are an employee of the Steamboat
Ski & Resort Corporation. We have a strict policy in place that
states that any employee must make themselves know when posting to
this online community.
What we did for a long time over that same week actually was do them in a row. That allows them to get in a rhythm and be comfortable and more confident for the days after the lessons.
