New Service Expected To Be Available in Booking Systems Starting Saturday, February 22, 2014

Flight Bolsters Summer Access to Steamboat From Over 60 Domestic Markets & 12 International Cities

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO-February 21, 2014- Beginning June 26th, United Airlines will launch new summer United Express nonstop jet service from Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) into Steamboat/Hayden Airport (HDN). ExpressJet will operate the flights through early September using 50-seat ERJ-145 regional jet aircraft.

“Just as the winter air program has provided convenient access to Steamboat for winter guests, the new Houston summer flight continues to provide the same nonstop jet service with easy one-stop connections nationwide and internationally,” said Chuck Porter, chairman for the Local Marketing District. “Expanding air service in the summer will allow Steamboat to attract new markets; but, just as importantly, it provides a valuable alternative travel option for local leisure and business travelers in our community.”

The new United Express nonstop summer flights will operate from Houston four times a week directly into Steamboat/Hayden Airport from June 26 through September 1, 2014.  The IAH-HDN flights will operate on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Thursday arriving at approximately 7:35pm; with the HDN-IAH outbound departing at 7:45am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
