Merry Christmas from snowy Steamboat! It’s a groomers galore kind of day on the mountain. The snow conditions are pristine after all of our recent storms, and there’s another one moving in as we speak.
Although the skies are grey, greetings are warm and welcome on the mountain today. Everyone wishing one another a merry Christmas is a wonderful reminder of how genuine and friendly our little town really is.
Today will be a short and sweet post, as I am ready for a nice day with family. I clearly have food on the brain because as I was skiing, I thought about all the great places to eat on the mountain. Our beautiful Four Points Lodge has incredible pot pie. They also offer a Snowcat Dinner. I made a pit stop by the deck to admire the inviting outdoor fireplace.
Next I thought about a magical sleigh ride to Ragnar’s for a five-star meal.
Lastly, I must give a shout to my good friend doing an incredible job at the T-Bar. His paninis and soups are out of this world. You’re sure to meet a local or three while you’re there.
I send everyone warm wishes on this white Christmas day.
Be thankful, be kind and choose joy!
