SPRINGALICIOUS FREE CONCERTS Apr. 11 & 12

Live music is a constant staple of the “Music Capitol of the Rockies” and Springalicious will be no exception. Closing weekend will include free concerts at the Bear River Bar & Grill and in Gondola Square. The Ozomatli free concert on closing Day April 12th at 3pm is part of the Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert series presented by the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, sponsored by Bud Light, Wells Fargo and SmartWool. 29th ANNUAL SMARTWOOL CARDBOARD CLASSIC Apr. 11

The SmartWool Cardboard Classic, Steamboat’s traditional rite of spring returns to the Steamboat Ski Area for the 29th year as part of the Springalicious end of season celebration. This wild and hilarious race features homemade cardboard crafts, constructed only from cardboard, glue, string, water based paint, duct tape and masking tape, racing down the face of Headwall to a hysterical finish. The uniqueness and creativity of the race make it an event everyone looks forward to. For more information visit steamboat.com/spring or stop in the Information Center at the base of the Ski Area. Judging of the crafts on Stampede will start at 9:30am and races begin at 10:00 starting with 17 & under first. Entry fee is $10 per craft and there is a maximum of 50 crafts, so be sure to register today!

2nd ANNUAL SPLASHDOWN POND SKIM Apr. 12

Don’t miss the Splashdown Pond Skimming Championships on Sunday, April 12th at 1pm. Wrapping up another epic season at Steamboat, this event has antics like you wouldn't believe. The Splashdown Pond Skimming Championships brings brave (and slightly crazy) skiers and riders who will attempt to cross an ice-cold pond at the base of the mountain while being judged on distance, outfit creativity, and crowd response. For additional information and how to participate visit steamboat.com/spring or stop in the Information Center at the base of the Ski Area. Entry fee is $10 per skimmer and there is a maximum 50 skimmers, so be sure to register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot!

SPRINGALICIOUS BEAR RIVER BAR & GRILL APRÉS SKI

The Bear River Bar & Grill is your Springalicious headquarters to enjoy the amazing musical line-up and fantastic food and drink specials. Join us at the Bear River Bar & Grill from 3:30-5:30pm daily for happy hour specials including: $3 Budweiser or Bud Light Drafts and $1 off Shock Top Wheat, Bare Knuckle Stout and Stella. Casual dining served daily 11am - 5pm, highlighting hand tossed pizzas, specialty burgers and snacks. The “Bear” is the location in Gondola Square for Après Ski!

SPRINGALICIOUS COCA-COLA GONDOLA ADVENTURE ZONE ACTIVITIES

Have a go at the brand new Mechanical Bull and test your skills as a true Steamboat Cowboy! Or get strapped in and jump up to 24 feet in the air on our Bungee Trampoline! This is an excellent way to practice your front and back flips - $9 per jump. And for just $6 per person grab a buddy and get dizzy in our 2-person Gyro Chair – just like the one used by NASA's Astronauts! Tickets are for sale in the Ski and Snowboard School Ticket Office or the Main Ticket Office; both are located at the base of the ski area. Open daily from 3-6pm. During the Springalicious closing weekend, April 11 & 12 all Adventure Zone Activities are 50% off!!

SPRINGALICIOUS JIB JAM Apr. 10

On Friday April 10th at 3:15pm as part of the Springalicious celebrations there will be a Jib Jam featuring small terrain park features set up by the Ski & Snowboard School ‘Lil Rodeo at the Base of the Ski Resort. Come join the Ski & Snowboard School instructors and have fun jibbing the small features. Open to all ages and abilities. A liability waiver will need to be signed upon entry, and if under 18 years of age, a guardian will also need to sign. Don’t forget your helmet!

FIRST ANNUAL STARS SNOWSHOE STAMPEDE Apr. 11

Short and long courses. 100% of entry fee and donations go to STARS to provide recreational opportunities for people with disabilities. Reception and excellent prizes following at Edgemont Preview Center, at Grand Shops. Register Saturday April 11th from 10am at STARS tent in Gondola Square, race starts at 11am on Stampede. Entry fee is $15 (cash or check). Donations to STARS also can be dropped at Edgemont Preview Center or First National Bank of the Rockies. Rent snowshoes from Steamboat Ski & Bike Care. EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE Apr. 12

A special Easter Sunrise Service will be held on the third floor of Thunderhead at the top of the Gondola at 6:45am on April 12th. The Gondola will operate from 6–6:30am to take worshippers up the mountain. Those wishing to participate are encouraged to be ready to load the Gondola by 6am, as seating is limited to 500 people. Foot passenger’s ride is FREE. Skiers and riders attending the service may purchase a lift ticket at the Main Ticket Office Will Call Desk.

EASTER BRUNCH at HAZIE’S Apr. 12

On Sunday April 12th take a ride to the top of the Gondola to enjoy a fabulous Easter Brunch at Hazie’s. This special brunch will feature Tenderloin Eggs Benedict, Lobster Eggs Benedict, Cheese Blintzes, French Toast, Catch of the Day, hand carved meats, scrambled eggs, soups, salads and fresh fruit, cheeses and more! A complimentary glass of Champagne or Mimosa is included. Brunch will be served from 9am to 12:30pm; adults are $39 per person, children 6-12 are $21, children 5 and under are Free. EASTER BREAKFAST at THE CABIN Apr. 12

On Sunday April 12th come join friends and family at The Cabin in the Steamboat Grand for a spectacular all you can imagine Easter Breakfast. This year the Chefs of the Cabin will be preparing and carving a honey brown sugar glazed smoke ham as well as omelets and eggs cooked to order. Included in the buffet will be fresh salads, fruit and baked pastries, smoked salmon, French Toast, ranch style breakfast potatoes, Applewood smoked bacon and sausage plus an assortment of cold cereals, granola and yogurt. Coffee, tea, juices are included. Breakfast will be served from 7am to 12pm; adults are $19.95 per person, children 6-12 are $9.95, children 5 and under are Free. 2009-10 SEASON PASS SALE: PRICE SAVINGS, PAYMENT PLAN AND FRIENDS AND FAMILY VALUES

PARKING

The Meadows Parking Lot will be closed through Thursday, April 9th and will re-open Friday, April 10th through Sunday, April 12th. Free parking will be available at the Knoll and Lower Knoll Parking Lots. If the Knoll Lots fill up, the parking structures will be free; if they fill up, the Meadows Lot will open with a shuttle.
