This will be our 2nd trip to Steamboat. Last year, we accelerated to level 4. However, I was very disapointed in my ski rentals. I felt they were too long for me. I am 6'3" and weigh 220. How short of a ski can I use and not be miserable?

A general rule of thumb is that skis should be from the ground to the middle of your nose to your brows. Any higher and you will be using skis much like that of very experienced skiers. I would say that you should see if you can change skis after the first day if you are unhappy with them.
