Okay well thats not exactly the truth. The RSS feed on my.steamboat.com is getting updated, but it is missing a time to live! Because of this my RSS reader (google) is only updating the feed every 8-12 hours, much too slow for me to keep up with posts ;(
I am also using Google Reader. It seems to work pretty good for me. However I do have to click the refresh button at the top every time I visit and it will display activity from under a minute.
Ok - except for now. I just went back to Google Reader and hit refresh and the latest activity is from 16 minutes ago: (mTnsmith replied to the discussion Top to Bottom).
Will look into that and post back here. Unfortunately it's not going to be near the top of my work queue for a few weeks. FWIW, I use newsgator to aggregate my feeds and they've seem to have done a very good job of ironing out all of the quirks that exist in semi-defined soup of RSS 1.0, 2.0, Atom, and the variety of servers and readers. That, and using the best newsreader in the universe (NetNewsWire on Mac & iPhone) makes all my RSS flow smoothly and quickly.
