My husband and I are coming to the resort April 1st-7th. We have never skiied before, can some please give me a basic idea of how much it would cost on average, to Ski and rent skiis, poles, boots, helmets just for one day? I'm totally confused. DoeS it cost $105 to just use the lift? Or does that cover skiing? Help please!!

A lift pass is just that, a pass to ride the Gondola and lifts. Rentals of skis, boots and poles is around $35-$45 a day.

Since you have never skied before, a one day deal would be a waste of money IMHO.

I suggest you either sign up for a three day lesson, lift ticket and rental package or skip any idea about skiing and just get a "foot pass". A Foot pass for $20 allows you to ride the Gondola up to Thunderhead where you can do lunch since it includes a $10 credit for food. You could also take a snowshoe tour while up there (if they are still offered in April).

Cheers
