There are only 7 trails open, yet it seems there is enough snow for more. I'll be there 12.12. and am afraid I'll be stuck on only a handful of trails (beautiful trails..and it beats working!) but...when will they open more terrain? When will the upper mountain be opened?
Great question. I'm due in there on the 14th and if the amount of terrain doesn't change noticeably I'll be cancelling...
This is largely Mother Nature's doing granted but it would be nice to know what the terrain roll-out plan is so one could make decisions. I understand this may be released shortly...
dont you lot start worrying ...thats when we are due there and have been convinced and convincing each other and the boys that by then the world will be all good...now if i start reading stuff like this ill not sleep at night ..its not like we are coming in from denver..well we are but its via Chicago and Manchester, i really dont want to start adding up the cost of this so stop worrying me puuurleeeeeeease ...
confident the whole place will be up and running with oooodles of powder everywhere.. tell me im right ..
Yeah i will be there on the 13th i'm wondering when is the upper mountain going to be open ? since the mountain already have like close to 50 inch of snow i'm pretty sure it should be good and good powders coming in this week we are looking at about 60-80 inches of snow around Dec 13th will the upper mountain be open then ? if not y even come here for just 7 runs ?
You can now read the complete release detailing Gondy and Storm Peak openings in the next few days. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention more snow is in the forecast? Today we had 40-some acres; this weekend it will be over 800 acres. Enjoy!
