Local recommendations..Snowboard rental price/quality.

Hello from Florida,

Finally taking my first trip out west at 34 after growing up snowboarding up north and east coast. Myself and a couple buddies will be there Feb 12-16 and are looking for some recommendations on snowboard rental locations. I have looked on here, called a few places, done some internet research now I would just like to get some input. I am looking for either demo or quality rentals and boots and I'm trying to weigh out cost and quality. We have a rental car so we are willing to venture out from base area if it's worth it.

I've heard good things about Fleischer and also talked to Ski Haus. Ski Haus didn't have a demo program but were using quality boards from last year at a significantly lower price.

Any local recommendations for quality equipment at an affordable price? Not trying to sound like a cheapskate but I'm a firefighter with two young kids so every penny counts.
