been reading around the net for snow mobiling tours and noted several comments about snow mobiling early season. folk were suggesting this wasnt the time to go as often more time is spent digging out than riding due to the lack of compacted snow ..is this right? we were looking to send the lads on a 2 hour trip, info useful thanks
This isn't necessarily true... there's usually more snow where they snomo, and they always groom their trails anyway. The "lads" will have fun just being up there, the views, the pass, the guides are all awesome, no question. :)
I'd talk to Marcia at Steamboat Snowmobile Tours, she'll set you right, used to work for those guys and they rock. http://www.steamboatsnowmobile.com/
