Any idea when they will open sunshine peak?
Looks like only light snow if in the forecast for the next week. I suspect they may hold-off sunshine and the upper mountain areas until after Christmas. Any thoughts?

Your guess is as good as mine. If you take a look at this article in SPT, it mentions that snowmaking operations moved to the Priest Creek and Sunshine Bowl areas. If they are blowing snow there, then it would be a good bet that at least part of the terrain will be open by Christmas.

P.S. I just took a look at the Sundown mountain cam, and you could see them blowing snow there!

Just looked on the Webcam next to sundown lift and a snowcat was moving snow. Also saw they were blowing snow in this area today as well so maybe they will open up some runs around sundown soon!

I can see on the webcams they are doing a lot of work around the lift areas. Looks to be soon with more terrain opening!

I talked to someone within the organization today that said Sunshine will open around Wednesday, Dec 21st.
