Event Description
The Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation enhances its company-wide strategic initiative of safe and responsible skiing and riding with a variety of special activities planned for National Safety Awareness Week including: Bear the Safety Dog, mountain safety tips; specials; avalanche awareness; helmet checks; specials on helmet purchases; daily safety messaging and more. The resort typically kicks off its annual Safety Awareness Poster Contest for elementary-school children with visits by patrol during this week.
